I was recently asked where to get small nuts and bolts. One website is "Fastener Express" and can be found here:
http://www.fastener-express.com/My local Ace Hardware store is able to order small Philips Head screws and nuts (steel) that I use to put together the harmonica covers. Small brass bolts (1/72) and nuts can be found in the link above. This is where I get mine. If you know of a better source please share with me!! I'll be happy to post it.

If you have really rusty cover plates you can attempt to bring them back to life with a little WD-40. Soak them up a little then give your plates a good buffing out with Semicrome Metal Polish. You may end up with small pits but you'll have to look really close to see them. It is a very economical way of cleaning up your covers.
